Creating the Perfect White Room

Here are some great tips for creating the perfect white room.

1) Crisp White Paints

Probably the single most challenging decision is choosing the perfect paint color. Here is a selection of foolproof Benjamin Moore whites and off-whites.

1. Ivory White . . . . . 2. White Dove . . . . . 3. Decorator’s White
4. Atrium White
. . . . 5. Acadia White . . . . 6. Elephant Tusk

2) Upholstered and Case Pieces

Upholstered Pieces: add depth and interest by mixing different textures, tone-on-toned patterns, and even a bit of earthy grays and browns.

*Don't be afraid to show a little leg. Stained wood furniture and case pieces are the perfect way to add that "pop" to the room.

I absolutely love the old beach wood and painted furniture combination.
The contrast keeps the room interesting and gives the room more character and
warmth. Wooden accents are the easiest way to bring warmth to a cooler pallet such as white.
