Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!!

Every Friday we will have a segment on the blog showcasing our favorite pieces from the Pleasant Grove and Salt Lake stores. We're excited for our post today. Hope you enjoy!

Shabby Chic Table and Chairs - Pleasant Grove Feature Piece

This table and chairs features a trestle table accompanied by 6 coordinating, newly upholstered chairs. The coloring is a grass green with an antiqued finishing. The price for the table and chairs set is $1200.

Need to seat more around the table? Parson chairs at the head of the table would be the perfect finishing touch to this charming set. Parson chairs can be made in the upholstery studio. For more information, contact us at 801.701.0603.

Why We're Loving This Set

As a designer, my tried and true recipe for a fantastic room is 1) have at least one piece in your room that is irresistible, makes you weak in the knees every time you look at it, and makes you smile every time you catch a glimpse at it. 2) Make sure you have one piece that spares no attention to detail. 3)Mix it up a bit with color, pattern and texture.

Now, if I'm not mistaken, this grass green table and chairs set incorporates all of my ingredients. And the beautiful thing about this is, you don't need a whole lot of other elements in the room to make it feel complete. This table speaks volumes by itself.

Looks Great With

Antique gold accents. I imagine a great tea cart in antique gold displaying a beautiful collection of tea cups and saucers nestled in a corner of the room, and an antique gold chandelier cascading from the ceiling dressed in dazzling crystals. The great thing about this table--it really could be dressed up or down depending on the formality of your home.

Linens, linens, linens. Drape a blushing pink cloth over the table and add stripy napkins to your table setting to bring even more charm, color and pattern to your setting. Fabulously feminine and lovely!!

Fresh bouquet from the garden in your favorite water pitcher to top the table.
